The sewer / water cover is broken and partially in the drainage hole on 9th street North/ Dr. MLKJR st n just south of 62nd Ave N on the west side of the street. Needs to be taken care of before we get rain so the concrete does not go into the sewer line. Thank you!

Large cut out in road across from address.
  • 540 2nd Ave S Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33701 - Downtown Neighborhood Association
Every morning there is a puddle in the paved alley behind 540 2nd Ave S. As the heat and direct sunlight hit the puddle, the puddle begins to evaporate. Near evening falling when the area is in the shade, the puddle starts to fill up again. This happens every single day. I am not so concerned with the puddle as I am with the area underneath the pavement. A constant water leak under the pavement could be setting up conditions for a sinkhole along with wasting water. Anyone coming to look at the problem needs to come in the morning. I do not know if this is a water or sewer leak but it is on city property. Thank you for your assistance.

Entrance to Demens Landing where the road splits.
My neighbor and I ride our bicycles to Demens Landing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Almost every time, there are large puddles of water covering the entire road about 2 inches deep. There has not been any rain so guessing it is the sprinklers need proper adjustment. We see several city employees on golf carts everyday and can't figure out why this has never been reported or fixed. This has been like that for a few years.
We now have a water shortage in St. Pete per the article in the paper this morning. Please have this fixed. Thanking you in advance.

Tampa Bay saw its driest rainy season in 26 years

last week city workers were out there where this sinkhole is located, which is at a bus stop, placed cones around it. This hole has gotten very big over the weekend caller assumes with all the rain. But she is very concerned due to children.
