Opis
Garbage piling up in the front, side and backyard - yet again.
The mentally disturbed kid (7 years old maybe) is left outside for hours a day screaming.
Many cars coming and going day and night, honking horns, adults screaming and pounding on security gates.
When will the building owner get fined into oblivion for renting out his property to such problem people and their garbage?

Please answer my question as to why none of these many violations are logged on eTrakit? That is exactly the place they need to be shown.
I saw some new cars there over the weekend and I thought "Good, they are getting help cleaning it up". It is now 10x worse! More screaming from adults and kids and garbage everywhere.

This case is NOT closed. As mentioned to several citizens already as well as in the some of the duplicate issues reported on SeeClickFix, Code Enforcement Officer Sidie has an existing active case on the property, case #CE21-1152, and has issued a Warning Notice to the property owner. The re-inspection is scheduled for 9/7/2021. For a status update of this property, please visit our online tracking system, eTRAKiT, at http://web.ci.vallejo.ca.us/eTRAKiT3/Search/case.aspx (please note that it may take several business days for the information to update in the system). Since this is occurring on private property, there is due process involved and the City must first seek voluntary compliance of the violations from the property owner to fix the violation(s). This process may not yield a quick response, but we do our best to work with the property owner to get the violations corrected.
SUMMARY OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT PROCESS
After a violation is reported, a code enforcement officer is assigned to conduct an inspection, make a determination as to whether the report is valid or unfounded, open up a case and issue warnings and notices when valid and allow approximately 30 days for correction. If the property is still found to be non-compliant following the time allotted for correction and a second inspection, the code enforcement officer will continue with enforcement, which could include the issuance of a notice of violation or administrative citation. If a property owner continues to remain non-compliant, the Code Enforcement Officer can determine whether or not to move forward with obtaining a warrant to have contractors abate (fix) the violations on the property. While the enforcement process moves forward, simultaneously on the financial side, for any nonpayment after 30 days, a lien is placed onto the property and any associated late fees are imposed on unpaid citations. In addition, any unpaid fines are then assessed onto the owner’s property taxes as a special assessment.

There is an open case for the Neighborhood Law Project against this owner. More citizen reporter claims, the more teeth in getting this handled permanently.

Thank you for your comment(s). Please keep in mind that a "closed" status in SeeClickFix does not mean the issue has been resolved but means that is "closed" in SeeClickFix and now picked up in our TRAKiT system. We need to clear out the SeeClickFix queue so we can ensure we address incoming issues. Please note that since Officer Sidie has already sent out the Warning Notice with a deadline of 9/3/2021, the City legally cannot conduct any enforcement prior to that date.
In the meantime, we invite you to visit the eTRAKiT link provided above (in previous comment) to be able to track the current/active and past cases we have or have had on the reported property.
