Problem remains the same at corner of Ponder Place & 10th, just behind the Preserve at Metro Center Apartments, right behind fire hydrant. In fact, after rainfall on Thursday, by time the kids exited school bus at 3:00 and 4:00, children could not get to sidewalk and had to walk in middle of street because the water buildup was enormous. Bus drivers (2 different buses) had to wait until children completely crossed the street at 10th & Kellow (and each driver had to blow the horn for oncoming motorists to STOP) before the buses proceed to make right turn onto Kellow. I should have gotten out to take picture, but failed to do so!

I noticed the ditch right behind fire hydrant is backing up more than usual, so problem has gotten WORST and has not been addressed.

Not sure if the councilman for district 2, (Mr. Harrison) should be contacted, as my real concern now is for the children and the dangerous condition the flooding at the corner is creating!! It also creates a problem for motorists and their cars coming out of Ponder onto 10th and turning right, as well as those coming down 10th proceeding to Rosa Parks Blvd. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Councilman and any other concerned parties to view the backup of water at 10th & Ponder Place down to the large buildup going down to Rosa Park Blvd. at first post office driveway. I had mentioned this problem to the new manager "Ashley" (615-291-5606) back during the summer and she said she was playing phone tag with Metro Public Works. Her concern at the time was with the "marchland" in the rear of the apartment complex, which is located on 10th starting at Ponder Place. She was not sure what the lawn service contractors could cut or had to leave as is because of possible fines in the future. I never followed up with her after that and assume she is still waiting on phone call from Metro Public Works? It is still a DANGER for the school children who walk to school at top of hill on Kellow and for those children who ride the three the Metro School buses daily that stop at Kellow & 10th and have to cross over to reach the Villa Apartment Complex. (Also, there might be a few children in my building (The Preserve) who ride those buses. Thanks for anything you can due to pursue this issue.

I called Metro Public Works & Metro Storm Water/Sewer Dept. on 7/24/13 and reported problems directly. (There are actually 3 issues)!! I appreciate your keeping file open for so long. Hopefully, something will be done and problems corrected over the next week or so. Problems were somewhat corrected some months ago, only to recur. Now the marshland has become the third issue.
