There are technically two school on the property to the right. Mt. Vernon MS sits at 5418 Chapel Hill Rd., which is the corner and Bridges uses the same address but their building is off of Mt. Vernon Rd. Parents and buses deliver and pick up off Mt.Vernon. More importantyly, Mt. Vernon rd. is used by multiple businesses with large truck that travel at fast speeds for such a small road. Bridges services K-5 students who do not fit in the general school setting. As such, these students are prone to running and have ran into the road multiple times. Most recently, a student ran out in front of a dump truck. There really needs to be a school zone sign so that these delivery, construction, and just the general public slow down in this area.
