I agree with the initial poster, 'dont worry' may be young yet and isn't concerned. I personally think 15 is very, very hard to do... perhaps if they made it 20, but then would that make people go 30? About 5 years ago my mother lived there and was doing 20mph. And that is what they wrote the ticket for, 5 over. I don't know. But, my point is, they have had speed traps there in years past, and I agree, if the speeding is out of control, perhaps note if there is a particular time of day, and call the local police office and request someone to watch it? In SCS, someone made note on 'seeclickfix' about a local school and soon after there was a speed monitor placed on the street (that portable device that tells you your speed as you approach, not sure what it's called). May have been coincidence, but maybe not.

we have tried many things. And yes, I have stood in the road, walked really slow without budging in front of the cars I saw come speeding. I even flagged people down as if I needed help and then asked them if they realized the speed limit was set to 15. I have thrown things in the road when I saw speeders coming, in hopes they would slow down, but most of the time they didn't. I have followed cars and taken pictures of their license plates, I have watched where they turned and then followed them to where they stopped.... BUT I also have a job I need to attend to every once in a while and I also have a small child (the reason for my concern) I cannot do this in front of, otherwise he'd just copy me and I don't think it would be such a smart idea for him to go into the road undetected one time since those idiots don't even pay attention to a ball!
As I stated before, 20 is an acceptable speed because it is hard to keep 15 mp/h, but 30, 40 and even 50 is BS.
