City of Vallejo assigned this issue to Code Enforcement Division

Same thing happening on the 5th St. side of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Come and please move this out of our community. It’s a growing unhealthy mess. This is attracting others to do the same, attracting rodents and creating an unhealthy environment for all involved and living in the area. The sidewalk is totally blocked and puts pedestrians in harms way.

Why doesn't someone remove the attached hose and depose of it?
I'm so tired of the thievery in this town by the homeless. The trash they leave all over. We don't get anything free in this town, taxpayers pay for everything, including the water we drink. We only get the headaches of the trash, abandoned vehicles, motor homes parked and human waste on our streets.

She didn’t leave the hose this time. She took it with her today.

She must of seen my post, and removed the hose, this is not the first post about the attached hose. That's what they do, they have cell phones and log in to see what's happing. Fire Dept should put a lock on it that can't be removed.

Is there a way to remove my comment so as not to give others ideas?

Reporting people tapping into a water source in the middle of summer? How heartless.

IT's Stealing, they can pay for their water like the rest of us. If they have cell phones, they can buy water!!

If the city wants to provide free, they should. The city should be providing a nice parking lot with water, bathrooms and other necessary services.

The only way to stop this crime is to uplift the population who is committing the crime.

The reported encampment is on City property, and recent federal court cases have restricted removal of homeless encampments on public property. In Martin v. City of Boise, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a unanimous decision, finding that the City of Boise’s prohibition against sleeping in public violates the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment when no alternative shelter is available. Thus, cities cannot enforce camping/lodging prohibitions if their local homeless population faces inadequate shelter space. However, the City will continue to monitor the location and assist with clean-ups when appropriate.
