Opis

Please clean up what is a drainage area between Little Walnut Creek and Rutland Drive East of the Cross Creek Apts and make this appear as the area on the North side of the creek appears. And please trim up and remove dead and dying vegetation on both sides of Little Walnut Creek so it can be more easily maintained. Also, sever the poison ivy at the base of many trees and shrubs and give them a spray of Round-Up or similar herbicide. Let's give this area a good cleaning up for once!

This area should now be considered a FIRE HAZARD. Recently, there was a fire on Rultland Drive which could easily have spread throughout the detention area filled with dry overgrown brush of all sort which has not been maintained in several years as neither the Watershed Protection dept nor the Austin Parks and Rec dept wishes to accept responsibility for cleaning up and maintaining this area.
Will a major fire get your attention or notification to the Austin City Council and City Manager. What will it take to get this area cleaned up?
