A parking enforcement officer investigated this concern today and although many cars were parked on Minor St only one was illegally parked and ticketed within the posted residential parking zone. The regulated residential parking on Minor St is half of the block on the right hand side going toward Cedar St. The rest of Minor is unregulated and not posted as part of the residential parking zone, allowing anyone to park. If residents of Minor St are interested in extending the posted residential parking in the area the best course of action would be opening dialogue with alderperson Dolores Colon to facilitate this change.
