Opis
A very dangerous intersection with people speeding up and down Tilton Drive. School bus stop at this intersection and too many times children almost hit by speeding cars that ignore bus's flashing lights. There is also Getty Park- a public park- only three houses down Woodland Drive. Families coming to or from park always try to cross this intersection with children, dogs, and strollers. Need stricter enforcement at this intersection or speed bumps to slow down the speedsters.

I have feared the worst about this intersection. A week ago, my fears nearly came to fruition.
I stood waiting for my child to get off the school bus, and helplessly watched as five children- including mine- were nearly hit by a speeding truck as they got off the bus and started to cross Tilton Drive. Luckily, the Bus Driver yelled for the kids to stop, just as the truck flew by.
I tracked down the truck and reported the incident to the Police and Transportation Dpt.
On Monday, April 26th at about 8:30 AM, a man was walking across Tilton going to work and was struck by a car at the intersection of Tilton and Woodland. Police and Medics responded to the incident.
Need I say more about the need to put an island or speed bumps at this intersection?
What gives? NOTHING has been done since I first posted my concerns A YEAR AGO!
