A little before 5am on April 14th, the Cowgirl had contractors cleaning out their kitchen hood on the roof of their business. The decibel level of the machinery was earsplitting at that hour. Aztec street has 4 residential units, is their some kind of city code that would prevent this kind of work from being done before 7am? Residents on this street include folks who have lived there, their entire lives.

The City of Santa Fe is in receipt of the request you posted on “See Click Fix” a new feature being offered online by the Santa Fe New Mexican. The City of Santa Fe will not be able to assist with this complaint, being that we are required to have an address from where the noise is being heard. To get this issue addressed, please submit directly to Constituentservices@santafenm.gov . Please leave an address that we will be able to take a noise reading from.

I would need you to send this directly to Constituent Services. I will need you to leave me your name, the address where the noise is being heard from, and a phone number so the inspectors can get in touch with you to schedule a noise reading date. Noise complaints cannot be filed anonymously. All requests that are submitted through See Click Fix remain anonymous in our system. Again, we do not take the noise reading from the area the noise is coming from. We take the reading from where you are hearing it from. Please send directly to constituentservices@santafenm.gov.
