Thank you for your comment. When some problems are addressed there is an obvious solution like a tree limb being removed. But other times, all that residents see is "closed" with no comment and what seems like no real solution or discussion about the problem. So your comments here are appreciated. Thank you very much! the reporter suggested the city of lowell hire a parking patrol person who make make commission on ever car taged. this would bring in money for the city--improve safety and give someone a chance to have a job

why is this not solved yet

I noticed in the Lowell sun that the city is going to past out flyers about it being against the law to park on sidewalks and starting Monday the ninth it was going to start ticketing. Why can't the city in the same flyers tell drivers that parking on the wrong side the street is also against the law and they will be ticked starting Monday. solve two problems at the same time. I bet where you find a car on the sidewalk you will also find cars parking on wrong side of street. this is the north side of the street faceing south bound. no extra work solving both acts at the same time

what happen to the flyers and tickets that was supposed to be issued for parking on the sidewalks and parking the wrong side of the street. also when is all the lights going to be on --on the rourke bridge. also if you look at the dates of postings how long should it take to get things done in lowell

if it was fixed it would not be a old issue. how long should it take to fix a issue and what good is this program if nothing. gets corrected in a reasonable time

As was said before, the police are taking action. Even if they could ticket every single car parked the wrong way on every single street, there would likely be cars doing it again the next day. They are aware of the situation and are working diligently to address it.
