From 6:30am to 6pm Monday through Friday (sometimes Saturdays and Sundays). SEPTA CCT Vans are idling for upward of 30minutes at a time. They claim that they need to since they need to run their AC for Senior facility they service but yet they are reading newspapers and texting on phones AFTER dropping all patients off. This is a residential area with approx. 9 homes surrounding driveway.

The Clean Air Council has taken notice of this vehicle idling location, and will make sure to report it to Philadelphia's Air Management Services, and other enforcement agencies. Please keep reporting instances of idling because it allows us to compile data and help with targeted enforcement of consistent idling.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
