there needs to be an official, safe crosswalk somewhere near here. due to the layout of the sidewalks here, people cross common st 100 ft or so before or after the stop sign. this is very unexpected and dangerous. a marked crosswalk, and possibly fences to direct pedestrians to it would make this less dangerous for pedestrians and cars
