At the new intersection of 138 ave/100st, there is an advance warning light for southbound traffic to warn that the signal will turn red. The advance warning flashes constantly, it does not cease when the light turns green.

Half of the drivers know that it is defective and proceed at the speed limit, the other half will slow down because the advance warning indicates that the light will change. Please fix the advance warning light or cover it up, having only half of the traffic flow trying to stop is very dangerous.

Additionally, the traffic signal will sometimes turn green for east/westbound traffic, even if no traffic is present. Maybe the detection cameras are defective? No need to be stopping traffic flow for no reason.
