Now that the so call widen project is complete. Who actually survey the traffic pattern to know that this traffic flow makes since. The expanding of the road was GREAT love it..but I have several issues with some of the lanes. Why is there a HUGE shoulder lane on the right of the left hand turning lane on New Hope Rd (southbound) but NO shoulder northbound on New Hope Rd. That wide shoulder have been a turning lane, two lane heading onto Jones Sausage and a single right hand turning lane. There is so much room that would have made sense. Second if there was an accident northbound onto New Hope there is no shoulder or no way for a car to pass or get by as the median is TOO wide and was not necessary. The median on the overpass/bridge on Rock Quarry has another HUGE shoulder in the middle of the road. I think the road needs to be restrip so that it's even on all four sections. The only section that make sense is the Jones Sausage side and east bound Rock Quarry (sort of). Rock Quarry westbound towards New Hope Rd should have two turning lanes (right and left) and two center lanes proceeding straight. When the straight line backs up it blocks cars who are trying to turn right.
