It is a constant problem every time it rains. Every time. At the intersection on Westgate Rd. and Highway 70, as you turn right onto Hwy 70 and stay in the right lanes as if you are going up the I-540 on-ramp, a huge amount of water stands there. Traffic swerves around it. The water takes forever to drain.

Please explain why you keep closing this issue. Please explain what you don't understand about the location of the problem. Click on the "Show on Map" link...the map pin points right to the problem. My last post also describes the location in text.

As far as persistence, it is definitely a persistent problem. As I stated in my last post, it happens every time it rains. And it has been happening for months.

The reason this issue keeps being closed by The CIty of Raleigh is because this is a NC Dept of Transportation issue. We reported this to them on your first request and the NCDOT tracking number is JUW1RYLDWQ, they can be reached by phone at 919-733-4768 as well. SeeClickFix makes it difficult for the City to close the workorder with the amount of information you need if it's not an issue we can take care of. Thank you.

Transportation Field Services, thank you for explaining. The generic reply being posted by "City of Raleigh 3" is useless and misleading. Seems like a lazy cut-and-paste.
