Opis

The large parking lot at the corner of Wilmington and Edenton Streets needs better Handicap access onto the sidewalk to get to the museum area. After unloading in the parking lot, it is not clear where the access ramps are, or even that there are concrete barriers blocking access to the sidewalk. Once discovering there is no access at the corner, you must experiment. You can either try east along Edenton Street a few hundred feet to a ramp and then backtrack, or worse, you can try traveling north along Wilmington Street and make a left U Turn into the parking lot access traffic lane (!) Note from the picture that the sidewalk itself is nicely ramped, but access to those ramps is difficult to use.
