Philadelphia Housing Authority never shovels its sidewalk along School House Lane. Councilman Jones, please get on their case. This is a dangerous area to walk in the street. The walk is clear along the Westrum property and then it is a mess. Walked home from Manayunk last night. We had a choice: trudge through the untouched snow or walk int he street.

I walked down there this evening. It is a sheet of ice about 12 inches wide. Removing some snow just made it more dangerous. Now it requires salt and an ice chopper and a snow blower to make it the required thirty-six inches wide.
Why was this closed. People use that route to the bus and Manayunk every day and it is very dangerous. Please Councilman Jones, get this fixed.
