Agreed. Ppl often turn left onto NY Ave from Paterson Plank and hit gas from there to the Congress St stop sign. Then they continue to speed down the block you’re referring to until they meet the speed humps on the following block btwn South and Bowers. Last year there was a SeeClickFix request submitted for a two-way stop at the corner of NY and North for speed and visibility issues, but it was rejected. Speeding cars has become a big issue all over this neighborhood in the last few years. Do we follow the Union City model and speed hump all the streets? What is a viable solution?

I agree. I live on this block and I would love to have speed bumps installed.

Webster too. We suffer from having extra street width and two-way travel that really encourages drivers to open up. I routinely clock (with a radar gun) cars doing 45 and trucks (which are supposed to be restricted over 4T but not enforced) doing 35-40.

Anthony, yes. I take NYAve instead of Webster for that reason + the fact that the street needs paving so badly.
