It seems Vallejo just likes to make..excuses as to why they do nothing

Last month I put a click fix too on this encampment. Supposedly there’s only one person who posts a notice to the camp then cleans up a week later. ... though they just move and come back I think...There’s another encampment further down the trail. In the big trees below temple and Hillview drive. I’ve been meaning to file another click as they closed my original post asking for more details. Gotta take another picture of it... sometimes I see a fire below. I’ve gotten to the point where I yell from my back yard that I’m calling 911. Put out that fire!

They just need to impound these vehicles..

We/my family have a clear view of both encampments -‘the huge tarp/tent and truck. Garbage is accumulating and both camps pose a fire hazard. Given that we paid a hefty school bond and continue to be assessed an annual fee for maintenance of the area where the encampment are located, the City’s unresponsiveness is unacceptable! The homeless encampments pose a fire risk of fire and general danger! PLEASE ADDRESS NOW!!

I just saw a Vallejo city vehicle park and walk into the second encampment near the elementary school. I hope they are addressing the problem now.

CSS has one full-time employee who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. We work hard to investigate each report in a timely manner, and will investigate this report as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind there is a lengthy process to remove illegal encampments. If the truck is illegally on school or park property, why can't it just be towed ? Problem corrected, not endless excuses...

If a case has just bren opened, why is this complaint now C L O S E D ?

I have filed several complaints as have my neighbors! All the City of Vallejo has is excuses, excuses, excuses! Remove the encampments and block vehicle access! Is all of East Vallejo going to have to burn down before you take action??

Hss anyone else noticed that on Columbus Parkway, near Georgia St , there are signs posted " No Camping Allowed " , along with city ordinance information. Why are there no signs elsewhere, maybe if there were , the city would stop these lame excuses . As i said before just let the fire department hose the encampment down .

ok I called the number they left for the sergeant Wanzie to please ticket the two men in the gold suv and the white car and to clean up the trash etc .... see what happens.... also glass in the middle of the street . if anyone else wants to call maybe we will get somewhere . 😁
