Utility Repair Investigation W archiwum1016 First Street Southeast Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol HillDC Water indicates this water leak is not their issue. This area already had a sinkhole about 50 yards away and now this sinkhole has water running through the bottom of the hole. A charter school sits 5 yards from this hole and water leak. With two sink holes in close proximity there is a much larger issue underground that is not being investigated.

Roadway Marking Installation W archiwumH Street Southeast Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol HillLocated on eastern side of NJ Ave just south of freeway. Due to construction sidewalk has been closed for nearly 18 months. A fence is located just south of freeway with a sign indicating sidewalk is closed. The only way to continue southward is to cross NJ Ave to the west. There is no crosswalk and its very dark at night to due a lack of streetlights in that area. If this sidewalk is to remain closed until late 2017 due to construction a crosswalk needs to be installed to allow pedestrians to safely cross NJ Ave so they can reach a sidewalk. If crosswalk is installed signs need to be placed in the middle of the road alerting drivers to the new crosswalk.
If a crosswalk is not installed then the construction company needs to allow safe passage with a temporary sidewalk down NJ Ave SE towards I St SE. -
