    Irving Gas Station - XRated images posted at cash window

    Sorry to post this here but hoping someone can lead me in the direction of who to make a complaint and report to about this vendor who has an image taped to the cash window inside the store of a pornographic nature. The item is a "stimulator" and the image a drawing of people having intercourse...genitals and all completely visable. This store has kids go in there all the time, especially being right across from the park. I made my anger known to the owner, with 3 customers behind me backing me up. He took it down. This was last weekend. I went back today and its back up! They don't care about our youth so now its time to hit 'em where it hurts...their wallets and the government. So where do I make a formal complaint?

    Because of the late switching at Amity/Whalley, the cars get stuck at Fowler/Amity and block traffic who are turning from Fowler when that light turns green for Fowler. Please retime for better flow.

    Driving on Fowler, this light is HORRIBLE! This should be triggered immediately when a car approaches that intersection to change. We end up sitting at that light for quite a while, even when there is NO traffic on Amity.

    Also, please install "Do not enter intersection until clear" on Amity in both directions. People often enter the intersection on Amity heading towards downtown but get stuck because the light at Amity/Whalley/Wright hasn't turned yet. This ties up traffic and causes a major jam.

    Church continues to have sidewalk sermons on megavolume!

    Just drove by on Friday I believe and there they were, side walk sermons with chairs, mic's, huge speakers and all- preaching to the world without any consideration for other people!

    When is this going to be addressed by the city or has it already been?

    Illegal Parking Potwierdzone

    There is continual illegal parking on the right hand side of the street, even in front of the "No Parking" signs.

    Usually see a white car but others too. I dont know if they belong to the workers for the red house on the corner but it has got to stop! Because of the new design of the West Elm/Forest intersection, its causing even more problems when people park illegally.

    Hoping the city will get on top of this and address the issue with the workers and the police will hand out tickets.

    A traffic circle is currently being installed. Are you serious?!?!?! We need help on Forest/Rt22 and West Elm - due to congestion and high risk of accidents and THIS is how the city decides to waste money?!?!?!?

    A circle didnt even need to be put there, there are no real issues at that point. So why was it installed there? Looks?! Speeding? What the heck?!

    I don't know the exact address but wanted to know what is legal and what is not legal.

    There is a small church in this section of Whalley that has out door sermons and concerts with speakers and all. Sometimes they put their speakers on the sidewalk while they have their sermons inside. I am Christian and even *I* find this incredibly disrespectful. If I lived in that block I would be livid. But even as a passer-by this is bothersome.

    Its one thing to invite people inside and listen but to force others to listen to sermons and concerts is a bit much!

    Is this even legal? What can be done about this?

    When is something going to be done about this intersection? This is a complete disaster and something in the center needs to be added immediately. I am tired of getting in near car accidents because people do not abide by the new turn lane. Cops would be grand but this is a sure way to ensure that the law is abided. You can use those construction dividers until something more permanent can be added.

    What is going on with this house? It could be a lovely property. There are boxes all over the porch that appear to have been there for years, weed/trees growing out the top of the chimney, overgrown landscape, etc.

    If there are people that live there, do they need help? Can we see that they get it?

    Just a heads up to all. Packages delivered by UPS mostly and sometimes FedEx have been stolen. It happens within minutes after delivery. Suspect someone is trailing the route.

    Also - unsure if same suspect - a suspicious white truck has also been floating around just minutes after UPS. Truck has been seen driving and creeping slow around homes, stopping at porch-sightline and peering onto porches from the vehicle. Driver is older gent with two younger gents in vehicle. Suspicious vehicle has been approached and their explanation has been they were looking for scrap metal ON PRIVATE PROPERTY! Regardless, its an admission of suspicious activity. They shouldnt be peering for any reason.

    "Forest Road" in West Haven approaching RT34.

    The "All About Me" people decide to start making this ONE lane into a TWO lane in front of the cemetery. People drive into ON COMING TRAFFIC to go around us more sensible people (who know its a SINGLE LANE) to go into the turn lane a 1/4 mile ahead. This is INSANE, dangerous and absurd. Why do they do it? Because no one is there to stop them. Cops need to station at this area during peak times and give out tickets! After all, this is their job and it will bring money into the state for sure!

    Is there a way to get paid for the tire I now have to replace? Had to call my AAA to come change it for me.

    This area is a SINGLE lane and people continue to try to make it a two lane which causes more problems. Please post a sign "Single Lane"

    The road has changed in front of the Mobile and Wallgreens on Whalley. What once was a two straight lanes and a turn lane into Wallgreens from Whalley going towards New Haven from Exit 59 off CT15 is now one SINGLE straight lane and the two outside lanes are turn lanes only. NO ONE IS FOLLOWING THE RULES! This is now causing major traffic problems because people are treating the far right turn lane into a straight lane. Near accidents are a common thing now. Worse then before. If you are going to change the flow of traffic, make it a forced issue. Get an officer out there to direct traffic, put up a turn barrier to maintain the turning traffic. Something must be done - this is absurd. Otherwise, whats the point in having the change anyway?

    The area between Starbucks and the Wings restaurant has a very potent urination smell. Its terrible walking by there. Can we get someone (the city or building owner) to spray that area down once a week? Its absolutely horrid.

    CT15 - Enterance 59, Southbound

    This needs to be a yield sign and maybe paint some arrows on the right lane on CT15 directing traffic over to the left to allow oncomers. It SHOULD NOT be a stop sign because of its location. This enterance makes it difficult to get on traffic with a hill just ahead - especially for 4cylinder cars (which I have). From a stop, its nearly impossible to get going fast enough to avoid a collision with oncoming traffic. Thus we have to make sure no one is coming for quite a distance, thus we sit there for a long period of time holding up traffic. This would be better suited as a merge and forcing more cars to pull into the left lane to allow more convienence for oncomers. Lets face it, leaving it up to the decision of the CT people is not a good idea. In general, CT drivers are selfish.

    This needs AMPLE SIGNAGE. This is very confusing, especially for people who don't live here. There was a guy yesterday that turned onto Broad a block up where it is a 2way but drove on the wrong side of the street thinking it was a twolane 1way, even through the yellow line is there it is still confusing. Can you paint arrows on the street for the direction of traffic please? This little trick would SAVE much headaches and accidents.
