    9th and Brannan is a dangerous intersection for pedestrians crossing 9th on the west side. There are cars making right and left turns onto one-way 9th street. Even with a "walk" sign, I have almost been hit several times, mainly by drivers making the left turn onto 9th. They are so preoccupied with "safely" making a left against oncoming traffic that they forget to check the crosswalk for pedestrians.
