Oreos Company have always been awful neighbors. It looks like they're trying to have some sort of party in the thoroughfare. No way this is legal.

They have cleverly taken down the tape but have conveniently parked in front of the thoroughfare to block it.

I noticed this as well. There is now a stage as well, presumably for a band.

Preiss for years feel like they have carte blanche on doing anything they want. Thanks for the photos on their illegal street closure. They have been told before the alley behind their business is a thoroughfare. I called SW District Captain Murr's office to come check it out again. They have a history of doing things like this according to RPD.

You should call 919-831-6311. If they don't have a permit to close off the street they must leave this open to traffic, this party is illegal if they don't have a permit.

I live on Woodburn and park in the alley that goes behind Preiss and connects to Benehan. I go out my alley to Woodburn for the light and the woman I spoke to said, "you just need to go a different way."
