A family bought an empty plot of land on Emerson Circle a few years ago, claiming that they were going to build a house. Instead, a storage building was placed on the property, and they have lived in it since then with no intention of building a house. A temporary electricity or telephone pole was set up at the end of their driveway since they moved onto the property and has not been taken down. It is unknown whether or not the storage building has proper plumbing or waste disposal. They have also been reported to the Fire Department multiple times for burning household objects and yard debris without a burn permit and/or during burn bans.
