This has been patched. Streets throughout the city are resurfaced periodically. With the recession the repaving program has been cut back, but as the program continues this street will be resurfaced in a future year as part of our regular schedule.

Actually I received more info on Sheffield Road:

The sections of Sheffield Road west of Brighton Road and approximately 150’ east of Brighton Road are not eligible for the annual street resurfacing program because there is no curb & gutter. Other than periodic visits from the pothole truck, the property owners can petition to have the road resurfaced or improved to a standard street with curbs and gutters.

This section has not been patched. Please try to cover up some of the area that has crumbled and is gravely. Kids bike down this street at lot.

This street, as noted below, is not eligible for resurfacing until brought up to City standards. The best we can do is to patch a pothole when it occurs rather than general improvements to areas of the street. Sorry, but unless the City Council changes its policy that is as far as staff is authorized to go.
