I am wondering if you asked the neighbors first. Seems like it would cause a lot of issues if it were reported to the city before being spoken about in person. People in Oak Park generally keep things up and it may have been a short term issue, like a vendor putting it in the wrong place. I just hate to see neighbors fighting when a nice conversation could do. Someone getting a citation over this causes ill feelings and rifts.

I agree that people tend to put the leaves in the street, but I also think that sometimes it's their yard crew or sometimes they just don't know they're supposed to be up on the curb. I also think getting cited by the city due to an anonymous complaint from your neighbor would sting a lot worse than a neighbor stopping by to say, "Actually, I'm worried about the leaves in the street because..." Just my two cents.

not everyone has the time or patience or will to go figure out which piles of leaves belong to who and ask them to move them its the city job to keep the roads clean and clear and maybe they will just kindly remind them not to pile yard waste in the street and make sure they tell there contractors to put them in the right place next time just my two cents

Please close this. It’s now summer and there are no leaves left in Oak Park to be collected by the city. It’s really annoying to keep seeing this complaint on the map.

Multiple other sock puppets/ fake accounts found. He uses them to harass his neighbors and (for some reason) Oak Park residents. Kind of worried that this guy is dangerous- he goes to a ton of extremes to harass people online. It's unhealthy. SeeClickFix needs to have the ability to block multiple usernames from a single IP and the ability to delete harassment from those who are mentally unwell.

It's difficult to see what real issues are going on in our neighborhood with all these old, resolved ones still outstanding.

I’m curious as to whether Mr. Dan Miglucci, who is the OP, provided such “detailed information” when he falsely reopened this issue using the name of one of his neighbors in Pine Hall Plantation, where he lives (he doesn’t live in Oak Park at all). There are NO LEAVES in the street here in Oak Park currently. You had correctly closed this and a myriad of issues also falsely reported by the above mentioned person just recently, and the Oak Park neighborhood was very pleased by this. Now this man, who doesn’t even live here has reopened them. When is this nonsense going to end?

City of Raleigh - perhaps time to block trolls who use this service to harass people? Maybe an officer could stop by to chat with Mr. Miglucci and Mr. Smith to see if they need more direct help? Something is not right here.

I agree with “Community Member”. These series of complaints in the Oak Park neighborhood aren’t serving any useful purpose if these two gentlemen keep reopening them after the City has checked them out and closed them. It’s disturbing our neighborhood and wastes the City’s time.
