I've been living around the corner from this house for about 4 years now, and I'm dispirited every time I walk by it. Why isn't there a city law to prevent an owner from allowing a house to fall into such crumbling disrepair? It's a shame for the lack of a house that should be a home for someone, a shame for the neighbors and neighborhood, and a shame for the city that isn't able to prevent it.
