We will be doing a left turn study for this location. It can take 30 -45 days to complete. We will post an update once that is complete.

....Spring Forest & Fox Road intersection. This is an unsafe intersection. Cars in Left turn lanes on Fox road are diagonal to each other and hard to see around. Creates blind spots. Even Raleigh Police had a hard time seeing oncoming traffic. These lanes should be directly in front of each other. With a straight ahead only lanes to their right, then a right turn only lane to the far right....

The lines have been repainted and has become safer but I concur it may be time for a protected left turn

With the new apartments at Spring Forest and Louisburg Rd. (hwy 401) I see even a reater need for the LEFT turn Arrow.. 4-lane Spring Forest from Loisburg to FOX as well. from
