Building Department assigned this issue to Property Maintenance Inspector

Having the grass cut one month out of the year does not “close” the issue. Chronic nuisances such as debris, hoarding, toys and bikes constantly strewn across the property, noise, yelling, constant parking on street overnight, loud music in the middle of the night, dogs unleashed, weeds, multiple families under one roof, cars in disrepair, school residency violations, defamation of character... to name a few, are the issues which need to be addressed. And if not with the tenant, then the landlord. Systems need to be in place that call for evictions for repeat offenders. If after 6 years of reported and confirmed violations nothing happens; you fail your law abiding, highly taxed residents, miserably. What is left but to leave. Thankfully, we are and we won’t ever look back. Flossmoor does not live up to the reputation it once had nor will it ever if rentals and landlords are not held accountable. I wish the new owners good luck, they’re going to need it.
