    Either the city of Raleigh or ncdot has left their baracades and sign on the sidewalk blocking access to the bus stop for those in wheelchairs. This keeps happening here. please find out who is doing this and tell them it is not allowed.

    a steel bicycle is not enough to trip the sensor travelling from highwoods Blvd to Wolfpack lane. to make things worse, the oncoming traffic from Wolfpack lane turn left on to Atlantic gets a green but bike traffic attempting to go straight will never get a green. this intersection has some form of unique timing because as you can see from the screenshot there is a sign that says "oncoming traffic may have extended green". the intersection is optimized for those users but if you don't trip the sensor you will never get a green light. I waited through several changes and never had a green light. even more, there's no crosswalk or button that I would normally resort to. I couldn't even legally run the red as is allowed after waiting through several cycles because of the high traffic on Atlantic. I lived in Brentwood for years and would bike this route on my way to North hills. the signaling at this intersection has been broken for a long time in this way.

    What could we do to have sidewalks installed at the entrance of Laurel Hills park?

    I recently took the bus there and only then noticed how inaccessible this is for the disabled.  Pedestrians are forced in to the street if they arrive by foot.  Motorized traffic on Edwards Mill at this location travels extremely fast and I worry someone is going to be seriously injured by a careless driver.

    To make things worse, the Sassafras All Children's Playground at Laurel Hills is specifically designed for children in wheelchairs.  There are many people in the Crabtree Valley area that could access this park by the newly installed GoRaleigh 26 line therefore I believe we should make this a priority.  If you look on street view you will notice at least 3 desire paths in the vicinity that connect to the Laurel Hills parking lot.  Unfortunately I doubt people in wheelchairs could use them even if they wanted to.
