City of New Haven assigned this issue to Executive Administrative Assistant - Department of Parks & Public Works

Guard rails still have not been repaired. Please update on when this is going to be resolved. The Alders approved replacing this entire guard rail with an updated engineering design which has only partially been updated. Where is the new guard rail?

Not only does this look terrible it could be a safety issue for car or by going through and hitting the fenceor going into the water
It’s almost a year. This should be fixed by now. I’m sure if this fence was on the New Haven green will be taken care of. Respect Morris Cove and the annex sections. We pay taxes in New Haven as well

Fix it.

This was “scheduled for repair” six months ago. Please fix it!

Please fix this hazardous issue. What good is a broken guard rail going to help people walking in the park This is a safety issue and now the broken rotting wood creates another safety issue. Thank you

This still has not been fixed, multiple parts of the guard rail are broken and have collapsed.

It's been a year since I last commented on this. Fix this safety issue please.

The City has already approved a large expense to upgrade the entire barrier along the Sea Wall with the type which has been applied to the Merritt Parkway. Some of the money was spent for a small section and the rest was supposed to be been replaced once the supposed ground thawed. Not sure why they said the ground is too frozen, this is not the Arctic nor is it North Dakota where they drill year round. Did the contractor get paid? Where is the money and why has this NOT been Completed? @Mayor Elicker! @Alder Decola!

I didn’t realize funding included the entire guard rail and not just the corner. The New Haven Independent article only mentions the corner. Either way, basic repairs like this should be budgeted and done quickly. It’s sad how much work our parks need right now.
