I reported this issue. Since then, this area has been watered at least two more times that I have seen. Nothing seems have changed. When homes are letting their lawns die, why does a patch of lawn between a street and a parking lot have to be maintained? No one uses this area.

We will call Lenar (707) 462-4000 about this area and will echo your comments. Have you called Lenar with the number provided?

The city requests that citizens report problems. I do not think that a citizen should be asked to call a big corporation about a problem like this. It has been mandated by the State of California to reduce consumption. A corporation like LENNAR is not going to respond to a citizen's complaint. The City should have more clout in dealing with these mandated requirements for all businesses and residents.

Understood. We will take the proper steps in handling this issue. Water Conservation staff will investigate your claims this morning, but until we are able to physically see the violation and verify it ourselves, the furthest this issue will go is a 1) verbal warning via phone or 2) 1st warning notice.
