As both a New Haven resident and a former Yale student, I disagree with Kent 14. Yale already has its own bike share program anyway, and there's no reason students would start their bike share trip in the middle of Hillhouse, as it's the midway point between two central hubs (Cross Campus and Science Hill).

Really like OP's thoughts on encouraging people to ride up the canal trail! Excellent idea.
