this is immediately beside the main entrance to one of New Haven's biggest parks, which is constantly flooded with pedestrians and cyclists. And this connects to safer roads towards Hamden, as opposed to 50+ mph drivers on whitney, dixwell & state. Have you ever been a pedestrian or cyclist on those roads?

Lazy engineering that could be much safer with a little foresight is inexcusable. Lives should not be endangered, that's why.

There is no room for a bike path on this road and it should "NEVER" be used by bikers, It is a safety issue all the way and your actions have made you and others much less safe. Rather than ask for a speed bump to ruin more suspensions, why not ask for a safe pedestrian dirt track off the road? If that is not of your liking how about we widen the road and make it safe for all at the same time. ( if you can find the money )
