Why can’t the city install a garbage can at Jefferson and Palisade Ave at the bus stop. As I said in a prior complaint there were 3 cans here which the city removed for some reason. Garbage gets dropped at the tree pit and constantly needs to be cleaned. Why can’t we get a garbage can here???? What is so difficult???

This vulgar graffiti has never been cleaned. In fact there is more graffiti from the top of New York Ave to the bottom of the hill leading to Hoboken.

Not sure why this has not been taken care of yet

Cannot get out of Waverly street between Baldwin and Palisade and cannot find a parking spot. Palisade is under construction and at same time NJ Transit posted their own No Parking signs on Waverly so they can remove a tree at their air shaft
  • 32 Booraem Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is an example of a dumb location for a garbage can. There once was on on Palisade at the bus stop. It was remove and one added on the side street between mailboxes and a tree where it cannot be seen while trash is on the ground at the old location. Who does this ? Can we get cans at bus stops at thoughtful locations.
  • Palisade Ave & Jefferson Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights
Not sure if this is correct Dept. Please forward if not
A few months back there were 2 garbage cans and a recycle can at corner of Jefferson Ave and Palisade. Now all 3 have been removed. On prospect, 2 blocks away, 1 was added at a hidden location between a tree a postal box. Both locations are bus stops.
You wonder why Palisade Ave is disgusting filthy? No cans and poorly located ones are one reason. Please put a cab back at Jefferson and chose a better location at Prospect.

I and others complained about the city not shoveling or putting salt down on city owned New York Ave heading down to well kept and clean City of Hoboken. You have acknowledge this complaint 8 days ago and a second time 5 days ago. As of today - see photo - the sidewalk is still icy! Great job!!! Kudos to your agency! (Sarcasism). I guess you are waiting for it to melt on its own.

626 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
I don’t know if this is the right office for my concern. The new Central Avenue opened between Hoboken and Newark Aves. The photo shows the side of 626 Newark Ave which fronts on the new Central Ave sidewalk. The side of the building is crumbling as can be seen by the fallen material. The new courthouse is starting heavy construction which could make matters worse. The owner of 626 is seeking approvals to build a high rise on the site. He should immediately be made to make the building safe or demolish it.

Garbage left from last nights pickup at Palisade and Booream Ave. why don’t they have a broom and shovel to pick up what they drop?
Also there was once an electronic garbage can right at this location. The city removed it and never replaced it. Why? Please put one here
