City Properties - Clean City Reconnu550 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownThe fountains in front of City Hall are overflowing and there is water all over the plaza, the steps, the lawns adjacent to the fountains, and down onto the sidewalks. There's far too much water flowing far too hard for the capacity of the fountain.
-
Sidewalks Reconnu871-899 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownBricks are missing from the edge of the sidewalk at seven or eight different locations along this block. It is a tripping hazard, especially behind the bus stop, since the bus stop is in the middle of the sidewalk and pedestrians must pass behind the bus stop.

Lettering on sign obliterated Reconnu671-685 Main Street Hartford, Connecticut - DowntownAll the paint has peeled off this sign, it is no longer useful and is an eyesore.
-
Traffic Lights Archivé770-798 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownHalf the lights on the "No left turn" sign are out.

DPW-Public Trash Can Archivé423 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownBig Belly is full to capacity, you can barely open the chute. Please empty.
-
Trash/Litter Archivé30 State House Square Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownBig Belly is overflowing and there is litter everywhere. This is a busy bus stop, there needs to be more than one trash receptacle.

EHD - Overgrown vegetation Archivé1-35 Arch Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownThese shrubs adjacent to City Hall are very overgrown and block the sidewalk.
-
Pothole Archivé131-177 Pearl Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownThis is more like a pot in a hole. Looks like the cover cracked & came off of some kind of pipe. About 1 ft in diameter (see shoe in photo for reference ) and 6 inches deep, full of water & debris. A pedestrian as well as vehicle hazard.

Street signs Reconnu400-438 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103, USA - DowntownSee photo. The signage on the right is missing the "Pay to Park" sign (as shown on the left). Every day I see people park in the three spots next to the pole lacking the "Pay to Park" sign and then come back to a ticket, because while it is clear that there is a 2-hr limit, it's not clear that you have to pay.

Street Light Out Archivé2-42 Linden Place Hartford, CT 06106, USA - DowntownCorrection - the first pole on the RIGHT.
-
Street signs Archivé151-201 Park Street Hartford, Connecticut - South GreenThe street sign on the west corner of Park Street at Hudson Street is turned 90 degrees, so it appears that Hudson is Park and Park is Hudson. It is confusing in general and most especially for out of town visitors who get off of 91 at Whitehead Hwy/Pulaski Circle and head South on Hudson to get to Hartford Hospital The sign needs to be turned back 90 degrees and secured.

DPW Street Line Painting Archivé70-90 Capitol Avenue Hartford, Connecticut - DowntownWhen driving East on Capitol Avenue, at the intersection of Hudson, cars always organically settle int two lanes at the light. It is not clear which lane is the lane that continues straight on Capitol and which is the turning lane, despite the left arrow traffic light, mostly because there are no lanes painted there at all. I suggest making the left lane a left-turn-only lane and the right lane for straight/right turns. It would eliminate the aggressive "no, me first" that happens once Capitol narrows a few feet later.
