I should say, Check yourselves...we were just asked to report.
But of course... It is still there. Faded pretty well though...after all it has been well over
A year since I first saw it
Interesting that the Mayor of Hollywood got this, FDOT, and Darlene Williams...still not fixed. Can we go to Broward County transit about this. Everybody just looks on and nobody cares. It all piles up, tell me the bus driver and all the customers don't see this everyday, ridiculous... and the tagger...must be so proud, especially knowing nobody cares enough to clean it off. The joke is on us.
Thank you for your e-mail advising of graffiti on Broward County bus signage located on Sheridan Street. As a courtesy to you, we reported the graffiti to Broward County Mass Transit via their customer service telephone #(954)357-8400. We spoke with Customer Service Representative "David" who advised that he would enter your complaint in their system and request a work order to cover the graffiti. Interestingly, I caught a tagger today at nearly noon on Hollywood Blvd! Tagging the bus bench in Lions park, called the police non emergency number while I was watching. Unfortunately a bus pulled up and the guy got on before the police could come. To my shock it was not a "kid" but someone in their mid to late 20s! Next time i will be taking pictures as this bench and the adjacent park are tagged multiple times a week and we are fed up with it. I have an excellent description of the guy. Come on now, high noon on the boulevard--thats some nerve!
Quite a few months now...the county needs to take care of this. A lack of attention to this is disrespectful, why should patrons of the Broward county transit system have to look at graffiti on the bus route sign...ridiculous.
