The sidewalks do not connect at this point on Wilderness Rd., which is very dangerous for pedestrians. Pedestrians are required to cross the street and to walk down the road a little bit to continue walking. Crossing the street at this point is very dangerous because of a combination of speeding cars, a blind hill, and overgrown foliage. The city needs to connect the sidewalk by extending it further on the Western side of Wilderness Rd. and incorporating a pedestrian crossing so that pedestrians can safely cross to the Eastern side of Wilderness Rd.. Since Wilderness Rd. was connected to Ray Rd, many people cut through the neighborhood to connect from Ray Rd. to Sawmill Rd. or Lynn Rd. I have almost been hit by a car numerous times at this point, and I know other neighbors have had similar dangerous experiences.
