Well, at least, in this case, the license plate is clearly visible in the photograph. So maybe someone will have the time to write this scofflaw a parking ticket. Or is even that too much effort?
If the Police Department is unable or unwilling to enforce traffic crime all over the city (see numerous SeeClickFix cases) is it possible to hire security staff to patrol at significant, e.g. Ferry Terminal in the morning and early evening. Even if not authorized to serve citations, these people could inform law breakers of the law and, if necessary, photograph and document repeated infractions.
Good afternoon, per City Council approval in March 2017, staff have hired a company that will begin parking enforcement of the downtown and waterfront areas this month. They will be giving warnings to violators until July, and then begin writing citations. You can view the staff report for the approval here http://bit.ly/pkingrpt. Staff have held a few public information meetings about upcoming enforcement and the proposed rate change. They will also have an employee at the Pista sa Nayon event this weekend (6/3) if you wish to stop by and talk about issues you see. You can also provide your feedback via Open City Hall - http://bit.ly/ochparking. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!
